Beautiful ruby color, limpid, very bright. Complex nose that combines aromas of red fruits and candied fruits. On the palate, this Pineau with the aromas of sour cherries is elegant. A subtle blend of fresh grape juice and Cognac is produced during the harvest.
Serve chilled with sharp, creamy, and stinky cheeses, dried fruits, and savory or sweet pastries. Would also pair well with rich chocolate cake or dessert crepes. Or be decadent and substitute it in a cocktail that calls for sweet vermouth.
