This Vacqueyras has a nose of darker fruits such as cassis and blackberries, as well as classic notes of roasted herbs, garrigue, and graphite of Rhone wines. It has ripe but restrained black cherry and mulberry flavors.
This full- to medium bodied wine is rich, and concentrated, and is a another great effort from this co-op.
