Gracefully gliding 15,000 feet above sea level, the endangered California condor is the largest flying bird in North America. With a wingspan stretching 10 feet from tip to tip, these majestic birds inspired us to craft a collection of wines sourced from the ruggedly beautiful vineyards along California’s coast, where the California condor holds domain. The long growing season and Mediterranean climate of California are highly attractive growing conditions which allow grapes to reach optimal ripeness. The morning fog and coastal breeze combined with warm, dry afternoon temperatures encourages the grapes develop slowly and fully ripen to showcase robust flavor and intensity. During fermentation we carefully extract the soft, silky tannins and rich color from the grapes. 10SPAN Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, full-bodied and elegantly textured wine with flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, black currant and cassis that blend into darker notes of cocoa, tobacco and toasted oak.
