Chablis is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes, produced in the northernmost part of Burgundy. This Premier Cru Montée de Tonnerre is one of the most important and renowned wines of the Maison Deux Montille. It is a very characteristic Chablis with a strong link with the territory of Montée-de-Tonnerre, the village from which it takes its name. After harvesting, the grapes make a fermentation period in wood for about 1 year, followed by 6 months in steel, to preserve the freshness and intensity of the aromas. Do not be frightened by its strong acidity in the mouth, because that is precisely its distinguishing characteristic.
Straw-yellow in color, the nose is very expressive, with hints of flowers and fresh fruit such as green apple, mint, pear and peach, but also pleasant mineral notes. In the mouth has a strong acidity, typical of chardonnay, and a good flavor. Persistent.
