This wine benefits from the finesse of a Beaune and the power of a Pommard. Its fine nose draws notes of candied fruit, very pleasant aromas of red fruits. A fresh and silky attack on the palate reveals relatively melted tannins.
Generous, the Beaunes show a great aromatic power and a fleshy texture, which predestines them to musky and very firm meats, such as game meat, roasted or braised. For cheeses, choose Epoisses, Soumaintrain, Munster, Maroilles.
