This pick by our friend from Jews & Booze is a tribute to basketball great Amar’e Stoudemire, and is called “AmaR’ye”. It is a barrel of MGP straight rye with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley thatwas bottled by Good Times. It was originally barreled on August 22, 2016, and aged for about 4 years, 9 months in a char #4 barrel. It was dumped from the original barrel into a barrel that previously held peach brandy on May 25, 2021. It was finished for 6 weeksand was finally dumped and bottled on July 6th. 110 Proof.
