Produced from old vines with deep roots in soil of Jurassic origin rich in marl and limestone in the historic Meursault appellation. The nose shows pungent aromas of ripe fruit, toasted nuts, elegant florals, and minerals. Rich and creamy on the palate with a long structured finish, this wine rewards extensive cellaring.
This wine is fermented on the lees in French oak barrels, followed by an extensive aging period of more than one year.
