Light pink color and the initial impression is very ripe summer fruits, peaches, and raspberry character. On the palate, lots of raspberry and hints of rhubarb flavors shine through.
Juice obtained from the three grape varieties used in the Wiston Estate Rosé blend was fermented separately in a mixture of old Burgundy oak barrels with specially selected yeasts. The wines were then rested on their lees for several months until spring. Due to the nature of the harvest, the decision was then taken to block malolactic fermentation. Exquisitely beautiful, soft and fine: this is quite possibly the best English sparkling wine ever made.
