Founded in 1955, Adega de Borba was the first of a series of wineries established in the Alentejo, with the encouragement of the then National Wine Board, at a time when the sector did not have the leading role it currently has in the regional economy. Today, Adega de Borba has 300 associated winegrowers who cultivate around 2,000 hectares of vines, distributing 70% red varieties and 30% white varieties.
Clear appearance, well-defined citrine color. Good aromatic intensity combining tropical and citrus fruits. Soft, fresh flavor with a predominance of lime flavor, with a persistent finish of citrus fruits.
