Pretty bright, often dark purple with purplish hues. On the nose, dominate the small red fruits (raspberry, sour cherry) and black (blackberry) enhanced with notes of liquorice and undergrowth. Well structured, their tannins are present and elegant. They do not lack roundness under a solid framework, leaving the palate a fruity feeling.
Pairs with Grilled / roasted lamb, skewers, kebabs, liver, kidneys, game birds, rabbit, grilled pork, roast beef, veal in a sauce, roast or pan-fried veal, roasted poultry or in sauce.
