The whiskey is aged in new charred American oak barrels for three years, where it takes on rich flavors of baking spices, ripe blackberries, and chocolate. It is then transferred to Amador County Terra d’Oro Port barrels for 9-12 months, where it develops a red hue, and acquires notes of vanilla and a velvety mouthfeel. With a high rye content, this small-batch whiskey has a classic rye bite, balanced with notes of gingerbread, buttery cookie dough and toffee. The palate is completed with hints of vanilla and honey, leading to a full-bodied and gratifying finish. Each bottle is 750mL, 92 proof, and 46% alcohol by volume.
