This is the first vintage from Winemaker Alban Debeaulieu, who succeeded Ken Wright in the spring of 2017. Vinified with natural yeasts, it’s a detailed mix of tart red berry, yeasty grain and light streaks of cola and earth. Aged 10 months in one-quarter new French oak, it finishes with a kiss of chocolate.
