Baker’s Bourbon is named after Baker Beam—the grandnephew of Jim Beam himself. So it comes at no surprise that Baker’s Bourbon is a subsidiary of Beam Suntory. It is one of their four “small batch series” Bourbons, all of which are highly rated, delicious, and pack a unique character.
This Mahogany-colored dram is aged for 7 years and comes out of the bottle at 53.5% ABV (107 proof). The strength fits the dram like glue… but it does go well with some ice. Don’t overthink it. Pour yourself a drink, take a second to steel yourself and then cast your calm gaze upon the envious eyes of all the wannabes and pretenders at the party.
