This lovely Bourgogne Blanc really impressed us last week when we tasted through the Bouchard Pere et Fils range from Burgundy, France. We loved the slight saline mineral characters running through the frisky yet flavoursome white peach and pear fruit infused with a drizzle of honeysuckle and light nutty oak cashew inputs.
The oak is pretty well in the background as it receives only 25% barrel ferment with the rest matured in stainless steel for approximately 6 months.
