The Terre di Valfredda vineyard in Ala was selected for the protection afforded it by the surrounding mountains and perfect east/west exposure which provides ideal ripening conditions for Pinot Grigio. The vineyard utilizes the traditional Pergola Trentina trellising system and is fastidiously managed from bud selection and fruit thinning through hand harvesting to produce grapes that exhibit the finest characteristics of the terroir. The vinification process was developed under direct supervision of legendary winemaker Riccardo Cotarella and his technical team.
