Strong acidity greets you that needs about an hour to mellow out. Aromas of raspberry are predominant. Tastes of sour and red berries, with hints of floral. Even after an hour, this one feels a bit harsh and out of sync. My experience has been that Fleurie is a lighter style of Beaujolais Cru and this wasn’t representative.
Warm and fruity nose followed by mild acidity on the palate. Good value from a Costco find. Good, long finish, high tannin. Great with pork dishes.
