Very young and not ready to drink, but trying to get a read on which ’16s we’ll like. Very alcohol out of the bottle, but mellowed after decanting. Not overly big and fruity, more on the earthy side. Nice balance between the tannins and acidity. Being a right bank Bordeaux, its more on the mellow side.
Powerful but nice finish. Paired it with venison and pomegranate steak tartare.
