The moste is open with full aromas of red and black fruit (cassis, blackcurrant). The palate is elegant and round with expressive structure and velvety tannins, a very well-balanced wine.
The Château Haut Pourjac was acquired in 1920 by Mr. Lestang, grandfather of the current owner, Mr. Patrick Bourrust, who has been working the vineyards since 1982.
