Superb wine! The layering of flavours and depth of tannin is immense. The lick of oak wraps it beautifully. It will be completely absorbed by the wine in a few months. Beautifully balanced, the dark fruit plays with perfume, spices, a little liquorice and tar.
This will undoubtedly continue to build and reveal itself for decades. Yet it is incredibly approachable now. A cracking CdP. Epic complexity. Wow, even after 30mins in the glass it’s now starting to pop. Elegance is lifting the fruit is shining and the wine resolving.
