Medium ruby-red color with a purple rim. Aromas are of attractive red-plums & perfumed cassis. The palate shows plum & blackcurrant fruit supported by good fresh acidity. The structure is silky smooth at first, then gains a velvety nature.
The very fine tannins give grip right at the end. Alcohol is balanced & the finish fine & long, though much of the length comes from the tannins.
