Medium ruby-red with dark pigmentation & purple hues at the rim. The red-fruit aromas have a slightly meaty, almost feral nature. The smooth, rich red & black-fruits on the palate are lifted by fresh acidity, showing a lovely cassis & red-cherry nature.
Tannins on the mid-palate are silky textured & a seam of graphite runs through it, overlaying the fruit. Alcohol is balanced & crunchy cassis & toasty notes emerge from behind the graphite to give a long finish.
