Originally introduced in 1888, the Cream of Kentucky brand took off when it began using Norman Rockwell illustrations for its marketing. Cream of Kentucky 13 Year is a limited release that’s complex but maintains an excellent balance of flavors. Fruit-forward and sweet, the aromas are fruit, cherry cola, and oak. The palate is more fruit, with notes of vanilla, toffee, and cocoa but balanced by oak and toasted nuts. The finish is slightly bitter, which helps to temper the fruity sweetness.
