Hints of char and nut lend a savory tone to unctuously ripe black-cherry and mulberry flavors in this full-bodied red. It’s a fleshy, deeply fruity wine but a large proportion of Syrah in the blend lends acidity and a pleasant grip of tannins to the finish.
Rosé, slightly orange (mordorée color). Aromas of citrus fruits, straweberry, cherry, floral notes. Palate is very rounded, fresh and long finish.
Pairs well with cold meats and delicatessen, fowl, white meats, grilled lamb with Provence herbs, fish soup, fried fish, pastas, pizzas and all Asian dishes.
Blend: 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 15% Cinsault, 10% Carignan, 5% Mourvedre
