Based in the village of Volnay, Domaine Glantenay is a rising star that should not be overlooked. This bottle was a pleasant surprise as it’s not often that you come across a Monthelie Blanc, but this drinks like a baby Meursault, with rich, ripe upfront notes of peach, apricot and a touch of lemon zest.
Powerful acidity, rich fruit structure, very balanced oak, this is exceptional value for a Chardonnay in the Cotes de Beaune!
