Reduction blocks an evaluation of the nose. This is also attractively rich with excellent volume and an abundance of mouth coating sap that buffers the firm but relatively fine tannins that underpin the intensely mineral-suffused medium-bodied flavors.
There is a touch of rusticity on the moderately toasty, balanced and agreeably long finish. Other than the toast, this is textbook Chanlins.
