This crisp, refreshing Riesling is the dry counterpart to the fruity, off-dry Dr. L Riesling. Together, these two wines represent the entry-level from Dr. Loosen, capturing the elegant and racy characteristics of steep, slate-soil Mosel vineyards at a very reasonable price. We call them our “welcome to the Mosel” wines.
This has plenty of acidity, but the peachy fruits make this astonishingly attractive for a modestly priced dry riesling. Made from bought-in grapes. A long and ripe finish. Drink now or in 2019 and 2020.
