2018 was a great vintage in Germany. From the famous “sundial” vineyard, this Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese is textbook Mosel Riesling. Delicate aromas of white peach, Pink Lady apple, jasmine and wet stone. Flavors of vanilla cream, fresh herbs, stone fruit, citrus and slate. Sneakily complex. Low alcohol – only 8.5%.
Serve this with pork loin with apple sauce, BBQ chicken, or fondue.
