In the glass this wine is a brilliant pale straw color with hints of gold and slight green hues. The nose is vivid and clean with refreshing notes of golden apple, Asian pear, and white peach. There is a lees influence offering notes of Parmesan and damp earth, yet balanced with exotic tones of tropical fruit, including banana and mango. Minerality on the nose is marked by wet rocks, dust, and button mushrooms.
There is very little to no aromatic influence from oak other than a touch of fresh cream that may also be the result of lees influence.
