Evangeline‘s Liqueur Pralines & Cream 750ml

Evangelines Pralines and Cream Liqueur is Sazerac Co. take on a very southern treat. They also produce a Praline Liqueur. I don’t think this product is brand new but almost no information is available. Pecans have become increasingly popular in flavored spirits, including several whiskeys and a couple of vodkas. While there have also been a couple of pecan pie flavored spirits, Evangelines Praline Pecan Liqueur is the only other praline flavored spirit I’m aware of.The aroma is brown sugar, dark chocolate, pecans, and cream with an alcohol backing. The sweet brown sugar and cream entry is joined by praline ice cream flavor that builds to a fudge brownie peak. It fades with glazed pecan flavor with a strong alcohol presence, and finishes with vanilla and mocha coffee joining the syrupy pecan taste. There is a burn as I swallow. This is a very sweet liqueur that has more alcohol presence than I would expect from a 30 proof liqueur.
