This wine shows bright apple, pear and citrus fruit flavors complemented by attractive mineral notes with vanilla and toasty oak notes from French oak aging.
The 2018 Chardonnay Ashley’s is gorgeous. Bright, floral and lifted, the Ashley’s shows the more restrained side of the Sta. Rita Hills. White flowers, mint, orchard fruit, candied lemon peel, marzipan and light tropical accents give the Ashley’s unreal complexity and nuance.
