French Blue is a beautiful dry rosé from Bordeaux that’s 80% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Merlot. This intriguing blend has the fresh-cut flavor of watermelon, strawberry, and cherry. It’s dry and drinkable, with a crisp, refreshing finish.
Very attractive pale pink color with strawberry-tinged appearance. The predominantly Cabernets blend balances extremely well with the lovely aromatic freshness of the red berry fruits (strawberries and red currants); and good structure, with the finesse and fleshy character of the Merlot. Very well balanced and fresh, the wine culminates in a very aromatic and lingering finish. Excellent as an aperitif or with white meats and fish.
