Graceful and fruity red wine. Medium intense garnet red with fine tears. Rich nose of small red fruit, such as wild strawberry, and juniper, brushwood, toast, vanilla and fresh mushrooms. Distinguished flavour with very fine tannins and ripe acidity, integrated alcohol, long elegant aftertaste of small red fruits and dried herbs.
Requires classy ingredients such as a young pigeon, partridge, guinea fowl, lamb or dry-aged veal. Also excellent with white truffle and braised green vegetables with tomato dressing. Serving temperature: 15°C.
