The Highland Park 17-Year-Old “The Dark” Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a limited-edition release from the famous Highland Park Distillery on the Orkney Islands in Scotland. Matured exclusively in European oak sherry casks, it develops a deep, rich, and spicy flavor that reflects the distillery’s signature craftsmanship. Only 28,000 bottles were released worldwide, making it a rare find for whisky lovers and collectors.

This edition is the first in a two-part series celebrating Orkney’s seasons — “The Dark” represents autumn and winter. Bottled at 52.9% ABV, it retains its natural color and is non-chill filtered, ensuring full flavor and character. On the nose, it offers aromas of dried fruits like figs and dates, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate, and a soft touch of peat smoke. The palate is full-bodied and rich, featuring flavors of fruitcake, roasted nuts, ginger, and gentle smokiness. It finishes long and smooth, leaving behind subtle sweetness and warm spice.
