The Solera Aged Bourbon is the first American whiskey to be aged using the solera method, which is often used in the production of Sherry, Port, Madeira, and Cognac. The bourbon is finished in 20 year old Oloroso sherry casks, imparting floral notes along with hints of fig, roasted nuts, and spice.
