Hogsworth Bourbon Whiskey and Armagnac is a blended spirit created by Raj Peter Bhakta, the founder of WhistlePig. It combines a majority bourbon with a portion of older French Armagnac. An exquisite blend of 4- 42yr bourbons & Armagnacs, sourced from Tennessee, Minnesota and France.
A distinctive blend: The spirit is a mix of bourbon and brandy, making it a unique product that blends American whiskey tradition with French winemaking heritage.
Bhakta Spirits creation: The Hogsworth brand is an offering from Bhakta Spirits, which also produces aged Armagnacs. The blend uses some of these older spirits to impart complexity.
Blend composition: The standard Hogsworth release has an average age of about 9.3 years. For the Batch 1 Blend #9, this was achieved by blending 2019-vintage bourbons from Tennessee and Minnesota with Armagnacs from 2012, 2010, and a small amount of 1982-vintage Armagnac.
