This is classic Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. It has a round rich mouthfeel from barrel fermentation; with pear, stone fruit crème brûlée, a good bit of acidity to keep the wine perfectly balanced. This wine does not feature heavy butter or oak, just the right amount. It is kind of Burgundy meets California in its outlook. With a bit of air the mineral back end also comes forth. This wine will amaze paired with risotto or braised pork shoulder .
