Kentucky Vintage is a brand that’s produced by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, mostly known for owning the Willett Distillery in Kentucky. Vintage in this case refers to the old style of bourbon, instead of to an age or specific year. It has aged in new American oak barrels, for an unspecified amount of time, although the producers do say that it has aged “long beyond that of any ordinary bourbon.” Estimates range from 6 to 14 years, but the fact is that the Kentucky Vintage – Original Sour Mash is an excellent bourbon, regardless of its age
