Kenwood has prided itself on its highly acclaimed, award-winning Sonoma Zinfandel since its first vintage in 1970. The intense spicy and fruity notes make it a perennial favorite with our winemakers. The majority of the fruit used to produce the 2016 vintage was sourced from vineyards located in the Dry Creek Valley long known for crafting superior Zinfandel.
Blend: 97% Zinfandel, 1% Merlot, 1% Petite Sirah, 1% Syrah.
Blackberry syrup and a richness of chocolate combine effectively in this broadly appealing wine, tart in the midpalate, with acidity that helps balance the overall juiciness and heat.
