A limited production Gavi produced only in optimum years and aged for at least 10 years before release. Extended ageing of wines made from the Cortese variety is unusual but provides a delicious experience. The flavours of stone fruits and citrus pith are evolved and intense and the finish has a distinctively moreish toasted almond note.
Light straw yellow with delicate green shades. Natural clearness due to static decanting. It is bottled without filtration. The scent is intense, long, continuous, persistent, with a warm touch in a soft and elegant complex. The taste is typical, with mineral sensations that evolve recalling flint, nut, toasted almond.
