Description: This mezcal has a nose of citrus peels and herbs, and a very dry palate with flavors of cooked agave. It is produced in the Sierra Occidental de Jalisco region, in the village of La Vieja, using Maximiliana (Lechugilla) agave. It is roasted in an adobe oven with black oak and distilled once in a hybrid Filipino/Arabic still.
