Maggiolo Chianti Classico is a taste of the joyful sunshine of our land. The name of this soft and tasty wine derives from the image of the iris, a typical flower of the Lamole area that dots the fields in the month of May at the height of its splendour.

Its bright ruby red color leads into a floral bouquet of cyclamens and violets, with fruity notes of mulberries, blackberries and blueberries and hints of sweet spices and cacao. The palate is dominated by fresh yet mellow sensations.

Pair this wine with barbecued meat, like sliced Chianina steak, or with game, such as pheasant stuffed with truffles: excellent with mature cheeses.
