This is a new wine from Lapostolle, bearing a nose that’s intense and compact, with mineral and dark fruit aromas. It feels rich and muscular but not heavy, with berry, licorice, buttery oak and vanilla flavors. The finish is minty and chocolaty tasting. Carmenère, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah make up the blend.
From a warm vintage, this blend is ripe yet still balanced, with aromas of prune, blackberry, tree bark and leather. The palate is saturated and broad, boasting flavors of dark, baked, black fruit accented by pepper and chocolate on the finish.
Color: Brilliant red purple color. Nose: Lovely ripeness with black and red fruit aromas along with spices hints. Palate: Elegant and balanced palate very well integrated with a long finish. Food Pairing: Ideal companion for meats and elaborate dishes.
