This Pommard clone selection brings juicy strawberry and cherry fruit front and center. The wine seems to drop off slightly in midpalate, then catches hold with lightly herbal tannins as it drifts into a graceful fade-out.
Made from 100% Pommard clone grapes, this flavorful wine comes front loaded with broad streaks of cherry cola, vanilla and Kahlua. Half was made in stainless, half in French oak. After that initial burst the wine seems to tail off rather quickly, leaving drying tannins.
