Some occasions call for a wine that shows the highest levels of quality but also has a touch of friendliness or informality that makes it more approachable. Barolo Vigneto Arborina is such a wine. It offers elegant Nebbiolo tones of red fruit and blue flower with oaky spice and smoke.
Good bright, dark red. Knockout pure, vibrant nose of dark fruits, espresso and flowers accented by pungent minerality. Youthful and stylish, with harmonious ripe acidity energizing the middle palate. This wine depends as much on its ripe, juicy acidity as on its suave, fine-grained tannins for shape and structure. In a rather Burgundian style, finishing very fresh but not reduced.
