Made from 85% Refosco (a grape indigenous to Friuli that was brought to Domaine Mercouri in 1870) and Mavrodaphne (a native Greek variety known for its port-like dessert wines).
It’s dry and full-bodied with deep, dark berry fruit which is spicy with herbal notes. With moderate tannins, a silky texture, and a long finish, this is a great wine to enjoy alone or with food.
