This wine is a blend of Barbera and Merlot grown in the Upper Galilee, Israel. The color is a really nice grapefruit pinkish color. The nose of the wine brings a floral and bright fruit aroma such as grapefruit, strawberry jam, and flower petals.
The taste is bright and crisp, dry and super acidic with a low alcohol. There’s a touch of fizz that was a touch off but has a nice mouth feel. The Recanati Rose is a pretty solid bottle wine, enjoy well-chilled on its own or with appetizers, fish entrees and spicier fare.
