Aged in French and American oak, it has red and black currant fruit, sweet dark cherries, licorice and soil nuances. It’s a fullly loaded, jammy, California fruit-bomb. Serve with white and red meats, stews, chili and soups, or with hard aged sheep’s milk cheeses and aged Gouda-style cow’s milk cheeses topped with Fig Jam and/or black olive tapenades.
