Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine is a complex and decadent cabernet wine that leaps from the glass with aromas of blackberry cobbler, graham cracker, brown sugar, milk chocolate, coffee and smoke. Made with grapes selected at the peak of ripeness from coastal vineyards in Monterey County, this bold California red wine offers flavorful notes of blueberry pie, praline, sweet vanilla custard, caramel and mocha. Taking a truly original approach to barrel aging, portions of this wine are aged in new and old bourbon barrels, giving it deep toasted oak undertones, with notes of vanilla and dried herbs. Awarded Double Gold at the 2017 San Francisco International Wine Competition, this cabernet sauvignon wine is framed by soft, chewy tannins and a lingering finish that makes it a natural companion to pesto parm pastry straws or bourbon glazed ribs and a fitting part of a wine and cheese platter.
