The Pizzolo family have been involved in the agricultural activity from the first post-war period when Giovanni Alberto Pizzolo decided to invest the savings he accumulated after many years as a farmer to buy the first piece of land. In the beginning he cultivated vegetables but soon moved to growing tobacco in Zimella, a little village in the countryside between the towns of Verona and Vicenza.
