For our very first distillery collaboration, we sourced peated barrels from world renowned Lagavulin distillery, that were soaked with their distinctive Islay malt – intensely flavoured, smoky, and rich. We finished our red wine barrel aged whisky in these casks for a further 15 months, melding Starward’s tropical notes with Lagavulin’s iconic smokiness.
